The recent 21st anniversary dinner hosted by MIPA in honour of our Past President's services at the Royale Lake Club, Kuala Lumpur has been a tremendous success. With the big number of turnouts and the friendly atmosphere of get-together, the Honorable Minister of Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism, Dato' Sri Ismail Sabri Bin Yaakob enjoyed the dinner gathering very much and stayed until the end of the event with our fellow members, guests and friends.

 

The success of this function is very much dependent on the attendance of all the members (including the Past Presidents and Invited Guests) present on that evening.

 

To the organizing chairman, Dr. Mohd Nor Mohd Yusof, and his committee members I thank them for their patience in calling meetings and planning skills to see through the finalization of the program.

 

My gratitude to Mr. James Lim, our secretary for printing out the Past Presidents' and the Minister's Certificates with expensive folders donated by MINDS. Many thanks to FRIM's gift presentation items at cost price too. To Dr. Phillip Koshy and Ms Lee Lin Li, I thank you for your willing help in manning the reception and registration desk at the very last minute notification.

 

Many thanks to Mr. Ong Boo Seng for his personal initiative to plan, organize and pick up the Speaker, Dr. Karl Rackett for the Patent Drafting Course with least supervision and of course our Secretariate, Ms Mary Abraham for supporting Boo Seng on the administrative paper work. To all who have directly and indirectly helped out in the function whom I could have missed them out, I thank you for the support too.

 

Last but not least, the event management team on that day was excellent and kudos to their job well done in mastering the ceremony and the press people to publicize the association's historical event.
